Grandmother hosts ‘Community Birthday Parties’ for children who have trouble making friends

A Michigan grandmother named Ronie Williams has organized community birthday parties for children who often face challenges in receiving responses to their invitations or having guests attend their birthdays.
Ronie’s inspiration came from her grandson Jacob, who is on the autism spectrum. She noticed that special needs,or as she prefers to call them ‘unique children’,often experience difficulties in having others attend their parties or receiving invitation themselves.

Over the pas two years these inclusive birthday parties have grown significantly. In the first year,25 children participated and the number doubled in the following year highlighting the positive impact of Ronie’s initiative.
